The Pipe Marking Guide (top) shows the requirements of ANSI / AMSE A13.1 2007 pipe identification. These are the pipe labeling standards used in most facilities. The guide covers color codes, label sizes and design, and placement.

The Ammonia Pipe Marking Guide (bottom) is a guide to the specialized standards for labeling ammonia pipes and equipment, based on IIAR guidelines.
